Ranting about my day job. Well, sort of.
Isn't it fun how I'm padding this blog that I launched, literally, 5 minutes ago, with posts so when I link to it it looks like I'm doing things?
I actually kind of have a topic here. I work in TV, you may have seen a video I made a while back about it: (you don't need to watch it, though it will help my point. Also, I'm padding views on it. Feel free to continue on below)
Basically, as mentioned in some of the comments for it, that job isn't going to exist in a lot of places for much longer. Including the place where I shot that a year ago! Automated systems, lacking in quality - but rich in not paying employees anything - are picking up steam, very, very quickly. In yet another industry that will be dominated by robots, I consider myself extremely lucky to have (so far) constantly evaded being canned and replaced by a machine. I know what you're screaming at the computer right now, "WOW, WHAT A HILARIOUS COMEDY BLOG YOU HAVE SIR, NOT DEPRESSING IN THE LEAST", but it leads me to this ridiculous cartoon I made using that free, and kind of piss poor, cartoon creator on YouTube. Enjoyish. It's funny enough, but I still like watching it more because it's just freaking bizarre...but with a ring of truth.
